If ever there was a space to mull about, this light-filled, Texas-wildflower-clad foyer space is it. Just outside the grand salon, this gallery-esque space features dramatic glass sliding walls that open to terrace with outdoor seating, a fire pit and a bar.

The panorama of Texas wildflowers comes from a little road near New Berlin, just east of San Antonio. The photo was shot by a celebrated fourth-generation Texan.

Destined to be Domain NORTHSIDE's favorite private dining or meeting venue, the terrace suite is a rustic-luxe extension of our restaurant. Dramatic sliding glass walls lead to the open-air terrace with a cozy fire pit and a full-service bar.

An HDTV is nestled behind "Tangling," a wall mural by Austin-based contemporary artist Susan Scafati.

This window-clad event space (that goes dark upon command) is an airy setting for small gatherings or breakouts. The room has a bird's-eye view of the buzzy AKB below and is completely customizable.

The boardroom at Archer is a stylish retreat for up to 10. Modern cocoa leather chairs surround a fully powered reclaimed-wood table. Sliding shutters reveal a 65-inch LED HDTV to support any presentation.

Something Extra

Austin artist Karen Hawkins created "Twice in a Blue Moon" using discarded, old paperback books as source material. Dyed varying shades of blue, the papers are meticulously wrapped and transformed into jellyrolls, reminiscent of fabric squares that her grandmother would use in creating quilts.

The landing is a dynamic second-floor prefunction space at the top of Archer’s grand staircase. Contemporary couches, chairs and benches take on a sophisticated Texas vibe in rich turquoise, saddle leather and cowhide; they're easily arranged to allow for receptions and intimate banquets.

Neon art from local artisans Simon Walker and Phillip Niemeyer pays homage to one of Austin’s most beloved musicians, the 1950s child prodigy Doug Sahm, with the chorus to his most infectious song with the Texas Tornados: "Hey Baby, Que Paso."

An outdoor oasis in the heart of Domain NORTHSIDE, this terrace venue offers an alfresco bar and fire pit, as well as dining and lounge seating. Set on the second floor, the terrace overlooks the buzzy ambiance of Domain NORTHSIDE's central square.

Austin’s patio culture is at a grand scale with the second-floor pool patio. A circular star-bottom splash pool is surrounded by chaise lounges and soft seating and flanked by an 18-foot Texas limestone fireplace. Fabric-laden cabanas are tucked in each corner for semiprivate sun-filled days.

Archer’s welcoming gathering spot from sunup to sundown features a central bar and communal tables with comfy seating, plus cozy corners and niches. Underfoot and high above, the Texas stars keep watch over the intimate space that’s ideal for semiprivate events or a full buyout.
